Which Subaru Models Were Awarded the IIHS Top Safety Pick?

Eight new Subaru models earned the IIHS's Top Safety Pick title when equipped with the innovative EyeSight® Driver Assist Technology and LED steering-responsive headlights. The IIHS provides unbiased scores for a vehicle's crashworthiness by performing comprehensive vehicle testing, so Bayville drivers can be sure that these Subaru models earning the Top Safety Pick award is no small feat.

Find out what sets these Subaru models apart from the competition.

The majority of Subaru's new lineup received the IIHS Top Safety Pick thanks to their sophisticated design, EyeSight®, and the LED steering-responsive headlights. The combination of these features allowed for the following Subaru models to earn this award.

  • Outback
  • Forester
  • Impreza
  • Crosstrek
  • WRX
  • Ascent
  • Legacy

In fact, all but the Forester earned the highest possible rating from the IIHS, the Top Safety Pick+. While this is an impressive accomplishment, it all matches Subaru's reputation for providing exceptionally safety vehicles. The Impreza has earned the TSP+ designation for the past twelve years. Similarly, the Crosstrek has earned this title for eight years and the Outback seven.

This means that Locust Valley drivers will have access to some of the safest vehicles on the market when they choose Subaru models. At North Coast Subaru in Glen Cove, we are proud to serve Long Island and beyond by offering advanced safety features. EyeSight® has been found to reduce rear-end collisions resulting in injuries by 85%, so Sea Cliff drivers can feel confident whenever they drive a Subaru.
